Intervención realizada en el parque de la Cornisa, Madrid.

Céntrico parque, cuyos terrenos el Ayuntamiento de Madrid ha cedido al Arzobispado para construir edificios con una superficie mínima de 25.557,67 metros cuadrados.

“Se construirá una Casa de la Iglesia, con 140 metros de fachada y 14.000 metros cuadrados de superficie, una residencia de sacerdotes, con 3.147 metros cuadrados de superficie y tres plantas, más un centro integrado para mayores, de 5.557 metros cuadrados, una biblioteca diocesana de San Dámaso, de 6.000 metros cuadrados, y finalmente una calle abierta al tráfico en zona verde y otra, de igual apertura, con 1.600 metros cuadrados, para uso particular del Arzobispado”.

En el paisaje urbano de la ciudad de Huesca destaca el gran número de edificios derruidos, en ruinas y deshabitados. La zona más antigua de la ciudad sufre un gran abandono por parte de las instituciones locales.
La intervención consistió en colocar la señal de “zona residencial” en estos edificios de la ciudad.

La intervención realizada en el festival Artehurbano.09 (Huesca) consistió en cambiar la señal que indica parking de estacionamiento sobre un tiempo determinado, por otra que indicaba permitido pintar durante el festival.
El ayuntamiento de Huesca multa por las pintadas de graffiti (actos vandálicos), hasta 3000 €. (excepto el día 19)

Puesto que no somos individuos, se nos pide que depositemos en el contenedor las partes más importantes y características que definen a una persona, puesto que no son usadas sino que son maltratadas y menospreciadas,

Restos humanos.

Aquí se hace referencia a lo físico, seria una critica al culto al cuerpo, como se le venera y parece ser lo mas importante, de aquí que se nos pida tirar los restos que nos sobren, no nos gusten o nos hallan enseñado a que no nos deben gustar.
Juntando lo que hemos tirado resultaría nuestra identidad individual, nuestra personalidad, lo que nos hace diferente de unos a otros y si cogiésemos lo que nos hemos quedado, seriamos todos iguales sin personalidad, ni física ni psíquica; todos tendríamos un canon robótico, nos comportaríamos igual y seriamos una masa, un colectivo fácil de manejar.

En esta actuación se sigue tratando el tema de la masa, la no identidad, mediante una pegatina que prohíbe ser persona, algo que seguramente sea ilógico, aberrante, pero a la vez no mucho mas lejos de lo que seguramente se querría hacer con nosotros.

Estos relieves, en forma de cabezas camufladas que salen de las paredes, también parten de la idea de la persona vista como mobiliario urbano, como un fantasma que está pero no se le ve, ya que si por ejemplo vemos una fotografía aérea de Madrid, a no ser que sea un gran plaza o algo parecido, no aparecen personas sino q todo son edificios, árboles, farolas…un cúmulo de objetos q forman la ciudad pero sin personas, sin individuos.

These reliefs, shaped as camouflaged heads coming out of the walls, break off the idea of seeing the person as urban furniture, as a phantom that is there but is not seen, because if, for instance we see an aerial of Madrid, persons won’t appear unless it is a huge square or something like that, everything will be buildings, trees, streetlights… a heap of things that are part of the city byut without people, without individuals.

Es la representación del ser humano y de la persona mas notable e identificable ya que todos tenemos una, única e intransferible pero, si situásemos varias sombras en fila por medio de fotografías, todas podrían ser nuestras, ya que por las deformaciones que sufren como alargamientos o estrecheces, es más, si estas mismas sombras estuviesen juntas, mezcladas no distinguiríamos nada, simplemente veríamos una masa, una mancha negra en el suelo o en la pared en la que como mucho podríamos distinguir alguna cabeza o alguna extremidad.

Is the representation of the human being and of the most notable and identificable person, given that we have one, unique and untransferable but, if we were able to situate several shadows in a row by means of photography, all of them could be ours, because of the deformities that they suffer as stretches and narrownesses, even more if these shadows were together, mixed up , we could not distinguish anything, we simply could see a mass, a black stain on the floor or on the wall in which we could hardly distinguish a head or a limb.

Sombras suelo: con esta acción se realiza una comparación entre el hombre y el objeto, se llama a la persona semáforo, farola o bolardo.
Con estas comparaciones se intenta hacer reflexionar a las personas, como su presencia es tan insignificante y poco preciada como la de unos de estos objetos, los cuales tienen su función, pero en el fondo no son más que mobiliario urbano puesto en ese lugar por el ayuntamiento.

Shadows on the floor: with this performance a comparison between man and thing is made, the person is called trafic light, streetlight...

Espacio sin aire En la sociedad el individuo es masificado, reducido a conjunto, siendo manejado a placer por los poderes fácticos y establecidos en un grupo dependiendo de su estatus, raza o ideología.
En el arte ocurre algo parecido, el artista al entrar en el mercado, pasa a ser calificado siendo tachado de pertenecer a un estilo u otro sin poder alejarse de él, llegando a ser afirmado o negado por una serie de individuos que tienen el poder. La obra pasa a formar parte de un cúmulo de obras destinadas al folklore y agrado de la alta sociedad, convirtiendose en un mercadillo de alto standing, dejando de ser una obra artística y pasando a ser un objeto comercial.
Siempre habrá ejemplos de artistas capaces de conseguir entrar en este mercado, no acomodarse en el y a su vez aprovecharlo para hacer una crítica desde dentro, realizando un arte reivindicativo y social. A pesar de ser en muchos casos censurados e incluso eliminados

Ser, pensar, sentir, amar, luchar, soñar, errar… acciones propias de las personas. Lo que nos hace humanos tan perfectos como imperfectos, tan sensitivos como racionales.
Sin embargo al ser prohibidas, somos negados, convertidos en seres dedicados a una función especifica, dirigidos por un camino y sin posibilidades de escape.

Be, think, feel, love, fight, to dream, err… human’s actions. What makes us human as perfect as imperfect as sensitive as rational.

But to be banned, we are denied, converted into beings dedicated to a specific role, we are led by a path without possibility of escape.

“El amor mueve el mundo” o eso dicen. Aunque no será este.
Este bonito lugar basado en el espectáculo, las masas, el libre mercado, etc. Es movido por el capital y el dinero. “...tanto tienes tanto vales es la hija de puta y cruel verdad...” decía una canción.
Queremos tener y tener, todo se nos vende, tenemos una necesidad ficticia y engañosa sobre las cosas. Siempre consumimos sea Nike, Converse o Carrefour, ya que cada uno tenemos nuestro espacio dedicado.
Es difícil aceptar que como dijo Debord allá por 1968, ya no producimos sino que consumimos, el capital se mueve a partir de nuestro tiempo libre, nuestro ocio.

Por otro lado, las calles, ese supuesto espacio publico, se convierte en un espacio privado total. Las plazas, calles, parques… son invadidas por mercadillos medievales, ferias, “arte publico”… buscando el atractivo, la novedad que nos mueva a realizar nuestro consumo diario sin tener opción a cansarnos de el.
